The Jeffersontown Civil Service Commission hereby gives notice of an application period for the position of Police Officer - Lateral Transfer/Experienced Officer. The annual base salary range for this position is between $41,914.85 - $55,584.39, based on years of prior law enforcement experience.
Applicants must have a minimum of two (2) years experience as a law enforcement officer and meet, or have the ability to meet, the requirements of the Peace Officer Professional Standards (POPS) Act administered by the Kentucky Law Enforcement Council.
Applications may be picked up from August 1-31, 2013, at the Jeffersontown Police Department, 10410 Taylorsville Road, Jeffersontown, Kentucky. The filing deadline is September 6, 2013. Applications/resumes must be returned to the Jeffersontown Police Department.
