The Jeffersontown Civil Service Commission hereby gives notice of an application period for the position of Police Officer – Lateral Transfer. Applications may be picked up from July 3-31, 2017, at the Jeffersontown Police Department, 10410 Taylorsville Road, Jeffersontown, Kentucky. The filing deadline is July 31, 2017. The annual base salary range for this position is $46,259.59 - $63,824.43 based on years of prior law enforcement experience.
Applicants must have a minimum of two (2) years of experience as a law enforcement officer and meet, or have the ability to meet, the requirements of the Peace Officer Professional Standards (POPS) Act administered by the Kentucky Law Enforcement Council.
